1. Alcohol use is related to motor vehicle accidents because unfortunately some people think it’s a good idea to drink and drive which is not safe. Stricter penalties is definitely a good start to trying to decrease the number of people who drive after drinking. Random check points is an okay idea, although it could come to the point where it gets unnecessary.

2. Portrayals of smoking by the media have changed in the last twenty-five years because I feel like back then, it was more normal and a lot of people did it. Now, it is often frowned upon.

3. Society promotes the use of caffeine because it is a “cool” thing to drink and “everyone” drinks it. There is rarely a commercial where people talk about the cons of caffeine.

Which of the following strategies is considered to be healthy and effective in promoting weight loss and weight maintenance? Sel
hichkok12 [17]

Answer:

All the strategies mentioned are considered to be healthy and effective in promoting weight loss and weight maintenance.

Explanation:

Regarding weight loss and weight maintenance all the optiones considered are effective. However, some of them are more usefull tan others. Strict attention to portion control is effective. Nevertheless, it is inadequate as the only method to try. Consumption of 4 - 5 smaller meals and snack is, again usefull, but it has to be considered with some other behavioral changes as physical activity. That's why of all the options, "combination of behavioral therapy with dietary and activity changes" becomes the best strategy, because we can admit it includes the previous ones.
