Chinese and Japanese immigrants faced several different difficulties when passing through immigration stations including:

1) Chinese Exclusion Act- This act limited immigration from China. This was fueled by the nativist movement in the 19th century.

2) Procedures at Angel Island- Angel Island is located San Francisco and was the main port for immigration for immigrants from China and Japan. At Angel Island, immigrants were forced to go through humiliating physical and mental tests in order to enter the United States.

Which of these countries was divided between democratic and communist occupies following world war ll
vredina [299]
The country you are referring to is Germany. After World War II, Germany is split up into 4 demilitarized zones. Three of them are controlled by democratic countries. These three countries are the United States, France, and Great Britain. The other demilitarized zone is occupied by the Soviet Union, which is a communist country during this era. These four countries also split up the capital of Berlin, with the US, France, and Great Britain controlling the western portion and the Soviet Union controlling East Berlin.

HELP!!! 100 POINTS PLUS BRAINLIEST: The United States and the Soviet union became superpowers and completed for global influence
Elina [12.6K]

The Berlin Airlift was a major effort, primarily but not exclusively by the British, to maintain supply lines to West Berlin when the USSR refused to let supplies be delivered by road, rail, or ship. It continued for 11 months before the USSR backed down and allowed normal import of supplies to the city again. This was a victory for capitalism, as the cooperation between capitalist countries allowed West Berlin to resist the USSR's demands. It also prevented the USSR from controlling the entirety of Berlin, which would have likely led to a communist Germany and thus left capitalist Europe one nation poorer.
