<em><u>Hydrochloric acid</u></em> is the acid in gastric juice that is lethal to many pathogens.

This hydrochloric acid activates pepsinogen into the pepsin enzyme which then aids in the digestion by breaking down the bonds linking amino acids. This process is known as proteolysis. In immunology, it has been postulated that one main function of the inherent hydrochloric acid in gastric juices is to prevent microorganisms from reaching the small intestine where it can potentially cause diseases or worse, get access to other parts of the human body.

NADH and FADH 2 are important in cellular respiration because they deliver high-energy electrons to the electron transport syste
IceJOKER [234]

Answer:

Electron transport produces 3 ATP molecule(s) per NADH molecule and 2 ATP molecules(s) perFADH 2 molecule.

Explanation:

The mechanism by which ATP is produced is explained by the theory of chemosmotic coupling.

This theory establishes that the synthesis of ATP in cellular respiration comes from an electrochemical gradient existing between the internal membrane and the space of the intermembrane of the mitochondria, through the use of the energy of NADH and FADH2 that have been formed by the rupture of molecules rich in energy, such as glucose.

aleksklad [387]

Answer:

<h3>The answer is 41.05 %</h3>

Explanation:

The percentage error of a certain measurement can be found by using the formula

P(\%) = \frac{error}{actual \: \: number} \times 100\% \\

From the question

actual density = 0.95 g/mL

error = 0.95 - 0.56 = 0.39

So we have

p(\%) = \frac{0.39}{0.95} \times 100 \\ = 41.0526315...

We have the final answer as

<h3>41.05 %</h3>

Hope this helps you
