HEY THERE!!

GIVEN :- Circle M and K are congruent and line QR is congruent to LN and line OP is congruent to VW.

TO PROVE :- The value of y

SOLUTION:-As we know if two lines are congruent then there equations will be equall.

1. QR is congruent to LN.

=> - x = y+8..........1️⃣

2. OP is congruent to VW.

=> -x = 3y + 16..........2️⃣

Now as we know circle M and K are congruent

so from equation 1️⃣

x= -y-8 put this value in equation 2️⃣

=> y+8= 3y+16

=> 2y = -8

dividing from two to both sides.

=> y= -4

HOPE IT HELPED YOU.

Simplify (3s^8)^-5 write your answer using only positive exponents. help please!!
loris [4]

Answer:

1 / ( 243s^40 )

Step-by-step explanation:

For this problem, we need to know that a negative exponent simply can be rewritten in the opposing part of the fraction, for this case, the denominator. So we can simplify as shown:

(3s^8)^-5

= 1 / (3s^8)^5

= 1 / 3^5 * s^8^5

= 1 / 243 * s^40

= 1 / ( 243s^40 )

Cheers.

Divide 3 and 1/6 /(-9)
ra1l [238]
If you would like to divide 3 and 1/6/(-9), you can do it using the following steps:

3 / 1/6/(-9) = 3/1 / 1/6/(-9) = 3/1 * (-9)/1/6 = -27 / 1/6 = -27 * 6 = -162

The result you get is -162.

Jada typically earns$1545 each month, of which $47.20 is spent on electricity. Whick percent of jadas earnings are spent on elec
REY [17]
The equation is asking how much out of Jada's total budget (1545) is spent on electricity a month (47.20).
write this as a fraction 47.20/1545
type into calculator and you get .03055
multiply that by 100 to get it as a percent. you get 3.055%
now round that to the nearest tenth and you get 3.1%
answer 3.1%

A sealed-tube manometer can be used to measure pressures below atmospheric pressure. The tube above the mercury is evacuated. Wh
sp2606 [1]
The correct answers are:

6.5 cm = 65.00001052 torr
6.5 cm = 8665.93 Pa
6.5 cm = 0.08552632119 atm

Explanation

The conversion rate from centimeters mercury (cm Hg) to torr is
1 torr = 0.099999983814461 cm.

We have 6.5 cm; this means to convert we divide:
6.5/0.099999983814461 = 65.00001052

The conversion rate from cm Hg to Pascals (Pa) is
1 cm = 1333.22 Pa

We have 6.5 cm; this means to convert we multiply:
6.5(1333.22) = 8665.93

The conversion rate from cm Hg to atmospheres (atm) is
1 atm = 75.999995199606 cm

We have 6.5 cm; this means to convert we divide:
6.5/75.999995199606 = 0.08552632119
