but wait, they want the area in squazre METERS
so convert feet to meters
1 foot=0.3048 meters

convert 16 feet and 3 feet to meters

16 feet=16 times 0.3048=4.8768
3 feet=3 times 0.3048=0.9144

so the area is now
legnth=4.8768 m
width=0.9144m

area=4.8768 m times 0.9144 m=4.45934592
