Two years ago Sean took an intelligence test and earned a score of 99. Recently he took the same test and earned a score of 102.

Yet at school Sean earns straight-A grades, and his teachers consider him to be an outstanding student. Given what you've learned about intelligence tests and IQ scores, choose the most likely explanation for the apparent discrepancy between Sean's IQ score and school performance.
a. Sean probably gets support for academic achievement from family and friends and is motivated to do well at school.

b. School grades are notoriously poor measures of school achievement; Sean's IQ scores are better indicators of what he has learned at school.

c. Sean must have been feeling poorly both times that he took the test, because IQ scores are generally very accurate predictors of children's school grades.

d. Intelligence tests and school grades measure such different abilities that the discrepancy does not require any explanation.

Answer: Two years ago Sean took an intelligence test and earned a score of 99 and recently earned a score of 102. Yet at school Sean earns straight-A grades. The apparent discrepancy between Sean's IQ score and school performance is because Intelligence tests and school grades measure such different abilities that the discrepancy does not require any explanation.

Explanation:

Grading in the school process is a method used to assess and categorize student achievement .

The classification of the IQ is the practice of classifying the score obtained in IQ tests with categorical labels, however it is proven that it is not the only thing that determines the success of a person. The intellectual quotient is an estimator of the general intelligence resulting from some of the standardized tests designed for this purpose. It is considered that the human brain is complex enough to not be able to measure intelligence with a single factor. The standard IQ test measures how smart a person is, traditionally, based on math or language. All other areas in which a person can excel or have natural capacity are not taken into consideration.

Ayudenme panas ;( Buscar información sobre la vida cotidiana de un esclavo en América de tal forma que logre comprender en qué c
ohaa [14]

Answer:

The living conditions of slaves in the antbellum American South, were some of the worst places for slaves across entire history.

*Living Conditions of Slaves: Housing *

Slaves were relocated in areas of the plantation for their living quarters. On some plantations the owners would provide the slaves with housing, on others the slaves had to build their own homes. Slaves that had to build their own houses tend to make them like the houses they had, had in Africa and they all had thatched roofs. Living conditions were cramped in with mostly as many as ten people sharing a hut.

*Living Conditions of Slaves; Food *

Sometimes they were given pans for cooking, but often they had to make their own food. The long hours they had to work in the fields meant that they had little free time for making things to improve their living conditions. Some slaves used a hollow out pumpkin shell to cook their food in.

Most plantation owners did not spend more money on food for their slaves than they had to and so the slaves lived on a diet of fatty meat and cornbread.

*Living Conditions of Slaves: Clothing *

Slaves would be given 1 pair of shoes and three items of underwear a year. (I don't know if this is true, so check up on that before you submit your "assignment" or whatever you need this for). Although these and other clothing would be provided by their owner, they were probably always the wrong size or shape for the person wearing it. ( made out of rough/loose materials in texture).

*Living Conditions of Slaves: Free Time *

Most slaves worked from sunrise to sunset. Some owners made their slaves work every day, others allowed slaves one day a month off and some allowed their slaves to have Sundays as a rest-day.

Slaves would spend their free time fixing their huts, making pots and pans and just chillin'. (also known as relaxing, xd). Some plantation owners allowed their slaves a tiny little plot area of land to grow things to supplement their diet.

Slaves weren't allowed to read or write, but some were allowed to go to church.

According to the pluralist theory, the source of influence lies in
FinnZ [79.3K]
The answer is in the hands of number of social groups

This of course, according to the Pluralist theory which states that decision making lies in the framework of the government but that many non-governmental organizations have a lot of influence over the government. These groups balance each other out and they together represent the will of society.
