1/2 and 10/20

to get 1/2 you have to divide 5/10 by 5:

  5   /   5          1
-----          =   -----
10  /   5          2

to get 10/20 you have to multiply 5/10 by 2:

  5   *   2          10
-----           =    ----
10  *   2          20

Hope it helps! =)

1/2, 3/6. As 5 is one half of ten, it would be equivalent to 1/2. Since it is equivalent to one half, 3/6 would also be equivalent, as 3 is one half of 6. I hope this helps!

Answer: 19 months

Step-by-step explanation:

given data:

amount paid initially when joining the club = $50.

monthly payments made = $10.

total amount paid since joining the club = $240.

Solution:

= 10X + 50 = 240

collect like terms

= 10X = 240 – 50

10X = 190

divide both sides by 10

10X/10 = 190/10

X = 19

How many intersections are there of the graphs of the equations below? x + 5y = 6 3x + 30y = 36
ad-work [718]
The answer is one. First, these are both straight lines, meaning they will have one intersection point. In order to find the intersections of these two lines, we must set them equal to one another. So x + 5y = 6 equals 3x + 30y = 36. When you solve the two equations together, you'll get one intersection point at (0 , 1.2).
