Regularly playing sports that are either team sports like basketball and baseball or solitary sports like tennis or squash has multiple possible mental health benefits. Regularly playing a sport can lead to improved self-esteem because you become better at a sport through improving your skills in a particular field. This makes you feel better about yourself and gives you another thing to be proud of :).
