In both cellular respiration and photosynthesis, a(n)_________ built into a membrane pumps H+ across the membrane as electrons a
Nikitich [7]

Answer:

Electron Transport Chain

Explanation:

Electron transport Chain (ETC) is utilized both in cellular respiration and photosynthesis. In cellular respiration, it is a later stage whereas in photosynthesis it occurs earlier.

Electrons are passed through various complexes or electron carriers in ETC. During this process simultaneous oxidation and reduction of various molecules takes place. H+ gradient is generated across the membrane which is utilized by ATP synthase to generate ATP from ADP. While ATP is the final product in cellular respiration, in photosynthesis it is used to produce sugar molecule in the next stage which is Calvin cycle.

Which of these is a distinguishing abiotic feature of the Great Barrier Reef
liubo4ka [24]
The Great Barrier Reef in Australia is known as the largest coral reef in the world and the largest living thing on Earth where it houses countless species of sea animals.

Its distinguishing or distinct abiotic feature is its shallow waters.

Sunlight is one of the most important factors in an ecosystem necessary for the organism's survival. The reef mostly has shallow waters so it is easier for the light to penetrate the water for the organisms to use. Even the reefs are visible from the outer space due to its shallow waters.
