When you can no longer engage in physical activities or lacks the energy or ability to concentrate due to stress, exercising your body will help to improve your body overall cognitive function.

Stress can affect the entire part of our body and mind but engaging in regular exercise will generate chemicals called endorphins. These chemicals act as painkillers and give provide the body the ability to sleep, which in turn reduces stress.

Engaging in some activities such as meditation, deep breathing and acupuncture can as well contribute to the production of endorphins in the brain.

D. Regular Exercise has been shown to reduce the physical effects of stress.

A wouldn't be correct because at home, you can find plenty of time to relax.

B would be wrong because it is opinion based and would be extremely difficult, if not impossible to experiment for.

And C would be wrong because mental discipline doesn't necessarily means you can take away stress.

Hope this helps!

What actually happens when you stretch ?
skad [1K]

when you stretch, the muscle fiber is pulled out to its full length sarcomere by sarcomere, and then the connective tissue takes up the remaining slack. When this occurs, it helps to realign any disorganized fibers in the direction of the tension.
