Why does evolution have to with change over time?
Naddik [55]
Evolution is the change in an animal over time. Evolution causes this one animal to branch out into many different species of animals.
How evolution starts- There is a mutation in the genes of one animal. If the mutation helps the animal, than the animal breeds and passes on this mutation. This is natural selection. Natural selection is the starting point of evolution because all of the helpful mutations get passed down to change the species over time for the animals' benefit.

Inga [223]

Answer: The atoms in a gas move at high speed.

The atoms in a gas spread in all directions.

A gas is a state of matter in, which atoms remains in a constant motion, they do not stick together. They are free and can move in all directions. The gas molecules expands to fill the available space. Hence, they can change shape and volume. The gas atoms being in a molecular state moves fast in high speed to break away from each other, to remain in a free state.

Which of the following would NOT be a constituent of a plasma membrane? Select one: a. messenger RNA b. phospholipids c. glycopr
Katyanochek1 [597]

Answer:

The correct answer is a. messenger RNA

Explanation:

The plasma membrane mainly contains lipids, proteins, and carbohydrates. Phospholipids make the bilayer of the plasma membrane. Carbohydrates can be found attached to proteins and lipids.

The carbohydrates that are attached to lipids are called phospholipids and those with proteins are called glycoproteins. mRNA is the molecule which is not the part of the plasma membrane. mRNA is produced in the nucleus through the transcription process and is responsible for proteins formation.

So phospholipids, glycolipids, and glycoproteins are the part of the plasma membrane but not messenger RNA.
