There were six curses God placed on mankind for the sun of Adam and Eve. 1. "I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception". 2. "Cursed is the ground for thy sake". 3. "Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee". 4. "In the sweat of thy face though shalt eat bread, till though return into the ground". 5. "For dust though art, and dust shalt thou return". (Death is inevitable) 6. "Thy desire will be to thy husband, and he will rule over you". (There shall be strife between the husband and wife.)
Thanks to the plow, early farmers were able to till more land faster than before, allowing them to produce more crops in a shorter time. The plow also helped to control weeds and bury crop residue.
