Yes, women did live in a different world. They had specific responsibilities. The di thing that men did not want to do like to stay at the house and keep it clean. Women also had fewer rights than men.

I'm not completely sure. While women have the same rights as men there is still some unrest in that area. There are still people that don't respect women. I think women have a closer world to men now but,  they still live a different life than men.
