What is the slope intercept form of the function that contains the point (6,2) and has a slope of 3?

Using y = mx + C.  Slope = m,  m = 3.
y = 3x + c

Substituting the point (6,2) into  the equation,  x = 6, y = 2.
2 = 3(6) + c
2 = 18 + c
2-18 = c
-16 = c
c = -16.  Substituting into y = mx + c

Therefore  y = 3x - 16.

You can plug in the numbers like 2=3(6) + b then rearrange for b so 2-18=b so the answer to your question is y=3x-16

90° clockwise rotation<br> Help please
maria [59]

Answer:

E' (-2,5)

F' (-3,1)

G' (-2,-1)

H' (0,3)

Step-by-step explanation:

The rule for 90 degree clockwise rotation is (h,k) -> (k,-h). This means flip the x-value's sign and then switch x and y's position. For example E (-5,-2), first flip x's sign (5,-2) and then switch x and y's places (-2,5).

Which table has greater constant of proportionality?
marissa [1.9K]

The table with greater proportionality is table 3.

<h3>What is constant proportionality?</h3>

The constant of proportionality is the ratio between two directly proportional quantities.

As, the constant proportionality is

k= y/x

For table 1,

k = 1/1 = 2/2 =1

For table 2,

k = 6/1= 12/2 = 2

For table 3,

k = 5/1 = 10/2 = 5

For table 4,

k = 4/1 = 8/2 = 4

Hence, table 3 is with greater proportionality.

How do you simplify the value of (28x^4)÷(12x^3)?
d1i1m1o1n [39]
(28x^4) \div (12x^3) =  \dfrac{28x^4}{12x^3}  =  \dfrac{4 \times 7x^4}{4 \times 3 x^3} =  \dfrac{7}{3} x^{4-3} = \dfrac{7}{3} x
