So first find out how many gallons you need to buy: 12.5-5.3=7.2  so then you will need 7.2 more gallons so they tank will be full so now you have to multiply 7.2x$1.30=9.36 so it will cost $9.36 to finish filling the tank

Answer:

$9.36 will be required to fill the tank.

Step-by-step explanation:

Capacity of the gas tank = 12.5 gallons

Gas tank contains gas = 5.3 gallons

Empty space  in the tank that can be filled = 12.5 - 5.3

                                                                      = 7.2 gallons

Since cost to fill the tank is = $1.3 per gallon

Therefore, amount needed to fill 7.2 gallons of gas = $1.3 × 7.2

= $9.36

$9.36 will be required to fill the tank.

The diagram below shows a wall with a
yulyashka [42]

Answer:  H (131.125 ft^2)

Step-by-step explanation:

first, you need to find the area of the wall

wall:

A=Lw  (length times width)

A= 9.75 x 15.5  (I changed them into decimals)

A = 151.125

now you need to find the area of the window

window:

A = Lw

A = 4 x 5

A = 20

now you need to subtract the area of the window from the area of the wall to find the amount of space you need to cover with wallpaper

151.125 - 20 = 131.125

Solve for the value of x. Show each of your steps. 7y=8x - 14 ; y= 6
svetlana [45]
When y=6, then in equation 7y=8x-14 we write 6 instead of y:
7×6=8x-14
42=8x -14
8x-14=42 (now we add 14 to both sides of equation)
8x=56 (now we divide by 8 both sides of equation)
x=7

Answer: x=7
