The answer is c, non-infectious. diabetes is a disorder of the digestive system. insulin supplied by the pancreas, is what helps the body digest glucose and starches. type 1= young, child or pre adolescent = insulin/ type 2 = oral meds, diet to control. in my experience as a nurse with type 1, type 2 starts with the oral meds. later in life, type 2's get insulin injections because of age, health state.

Which nursing interventions indicate client care that supports physical functioning
ArbitrLikvidat [17]

Nursing interventions can be divided into independent, dependent, and interdependent.

  1. Independent nursing interventions are those that a nurse can carry out independently, without direction or oversight from anybody else.
  2. Dependent nursing interventions call for direction or oversight from a doctor or other healthcare provider.
  3. Finally, interdependent nursing interventions are those nurses perform as part of a team of medical professionals working together to care for a patient.

Interventions that support physical functioning include maintaining the client's nutritional status and maintaining the client's regular bowel habits. Interventions that support psychosocial functioning and facilitate lifestyle changes include those that support a client's learning and those that change the client's unwanted behaviour. Offering treatments to stop electrolyte imbalance-related problems demonstrates nursing care that promotes homeostatic homeostasis.

makvit [3.9K]

Answer: Primacy effect

Explanation:

It is called the primacy effect. This type of effect is considering the tendency for some people to show enhanced memory for items that are presented at the beginning of a list without any neurological impairment.

  • The recency effect is an incorrect answer because it is considering the tendency to remember the most recently represented information.
  • The butterfly effect is also an incorrect answer because it is considering the idea that small things can cause non-linear impacts on one complex system.
