(x - 4) (x^2 + 3x + 2)
Multiply x from the first parentheses into the second set of parentheses
(x^3 + 3x^2 + 2x)
Multiply -4 from the first parentheses into the second set of parentheses
(-4x^2 - 12x - 8)
Add both equations together
(x^3 + 3x^2 + 2x) + (-4x^2 - 12x - 8) =
(x^3 - 1x^2 - 10x -8)

(x - 4)(x² + 3x +2)

The first you should have in your mind is the Distributive property

(x)(x²) + (x)(3x) + (x)(2) + (-4)(x²) + (-4)(3x) + (-4)(2)

= x³ + 3x² + 2x - 4x² - 12x -8

= x³ - x² - 10x - 8

I hope that's help:)

can be written as

\frac{1}{1}÷ \frac{m}{6}

b) sides in (m/6) will change if both has to multiply

c) 1 ÷ m/6

can be written as

1 * 6/m

1(\frac{6}{m}) and wont make change to answer. so matches with the question.

d)

1 ÷ m/6

1 * 6/m

1 * 6 * \frac{1}{m}

6 * \frac{1}{m}

6 ÷ m ..therefore true

e)

1 ÷ m/6

1 * 6/m

6/m    ....does not match or can be converted to the following so wrong

400$ is fivided between kas, jaspar, and jae so that kas has twice as much as jaspar and jaspar has three times as much as jae.
Fynjy0 [20]

Let jae have x dollars. Thus, we can make the  equation:-

x + 3x + 2*(3x) = 400

4x + 6x = 400

10x = 400

x = 40

So jae has  $40 and

jaspar has 3x =  3* 40

= $120 dollars  (answer

Answer:

y = 2 \sqrt{6}

Step-by-step explanation:

\frac{y}{ \sin(60) }  =  \frac{4 \sqrt{2} }{ \sin(90) }  \\  \frac{y}{ \frac{1}{2} \sqrt{3}  }  =  \frac{4 \sqrt{2} }{1}  \\ y = 4 \sqrt{2} \times  \frac{1}{2}   \sqrt{3}  \\ y = 2 \sqrt{6}

What’s the answer for 1/ over 1/2
8090 [49]
1 over 1/2 will simplify into 2. 2/1 simplifies into 2. All we are doing is just dividing by 2 on both the denominator and numerator. So if we want the 1/2 into a whole number, just multiply it by 2 on both sides which then you get 2/1 which simplifies into 2. So the answer is 2. Hope this helps and answers your question!
