Answer: [911,∞)

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: S be the number of cans collected by Shane.

Since, Abha collected 178 more cans than Shane did.

Then, the number of cans collected by Abha = S+178

Also, Shane and Abha earned a team badge that required their team to collect no less than 2000 cans for recycling.

So, S+178+S\geq2000

\\\Rightarrow\ 2S\geq2000-178\\\Rightarrow2S\geq1822\\\Rightarrow\ S\geq911

Hence, the solution set of the inequality will be [911,∞)

Scilla [17]

Question:

At the city museum, child admission is $5.80 and adult admission is $9.30. On Monday, four times as many adult tickets as child tickets were sold, for a total sales of $1548.00. How many child tickets were sold that day?

Answer:

36 child tickets were sold

Solution:

Given that,

Cost of 1 child admission = $ 5.80

Cost of 1 adult admission = $ 9.30

Let "c" be the number of child tickets sold

Let "a" be the number of adult tickets sold

On Monday, four times as many adult tickets as child tickets were sold

Number of adult tickets sold = four times the number of child tickets

Number of adult tickets sold = 4(number of child tickets sold)

a = 4c ----- eq 1

They were sold for a total sales of $ 1548.00

number of child tickets sold x Cost of 1 child admission + number of adult tickets sold x Cost of 1 adult admission = 1548.00

c \times 5.80 + a \times 9.30 = 1548

5.8c + 9.3a = 1548 ---- eqn 2

Let us solve eqn 1 and eqn 2 to find values of "c" and "a"

Substitute eqn 1 in eqn 2

5.8c + 9.3(4c) = 1548

5.8c + 37.2c = 1548

43c = 1548

c = 36

Thus 36 child tickets were sold that day

Any answers? im bit stuck on this
Aleks04 [339]

Step-by-step explanation:

The vertical angles are congruent. The right angles are congruent. There are 2 angles of a triangle congruent to 2 angles of anther triangle. By AA Similarity the triangles are similar.

Statement A. (vertical angles are congruent)

Statement D. (right angles are congruent)

Triangle AEC is similar to triangle BDC.

Statement E is true but does not help.

Correct statement of proportional side lengths:

BD/AE = CD/CE

x/150 = 200/50

x/150 = 4

x = 600

P.S. I think there is a mistake in the problem. I don't think that statement E is correct. It is a true statement, but it is useless. Statement F is false.

87 = 9/5 c + 32
what does c equal??
lawyer [7]

Answer:

c = 30.56 to the nearest hundredth

Step-by-step explanation:

87 = 9/5 c + 32

87 - 32 = 9/5 c

9/5 c = 55

multiply both sides by 5/9:

c = 55*5 / 9

c = 30.56.

Anna35 [415]

Answer:

It could help Logan to first study the constitution and shape of this type of armor in order to make a mental image of the positions of the angles as well as the size.

Step-by-step explanation:

A previous study allows Logan to understand that these types of trusses have a triangular shape and are widely used in the construction of roofs, therefore Logan could use to draw this type of trusses.
