X = 3, this is the correct answer because first if you start with combining like terms you would combine the 6x and -5x which would result in X.

Second, your equation bring X+7=10 you then subtract 7 from both sides and the equation that results is X=3.

I know how to do this and the teacher don't teach it right so I don't get how to do it at all
Kobotan [32]
I dont have time to do all of these right now my apolgies but Ill explain how to do it.

The 3 angles of a triangle add up to 180.

So let me show you how to do 1.
.
.
.

1. 58 degrees

92, 30, ?

If we add together the first two angles,
92+30= 122
Knowing the total addition of all three angles would ne 180, we can subtract 122 from it to get the third angle.
180-122= 58

So we now know the last angle is 58 degrees because

92+30+58=180

Find the equation of line passing through points A (1, 3) and B (3, 7).
Sidana [21]

Solution:

To find the equation of line passing through points A (1, 3) and B (3, 7).

we know that, to derive the equation of a line we first need to calculate the slope of the line. Slope m of a line at points (x_{1} ,y_{1}) and (x_{2}, y_{2}) is given by - m=\frac{y_{2}-y_{1}}{x_{2}-x_{1}}.

Slope of the line at point A(1,3) and B(3,7)

m=\frac{7-3}{3-1}.

m=\frac{4}{2}.

m=2.

Equation of a line using a point and a slope , y-y_{1}= m(x-x_1)

y-3= 2(x-1)

y-3= 2x-2

y= 2x-2+3

y= 2x+1

The equation of line passing through points A (1, 3) and B (3, 7) : y= 2x+1

Sue is upholstering a rectangular ottoman that measures 21 centimeters by 18 centimeters by 15 centimeters. What will be the tot
Anika [276]

Answer:

1926cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Dimension = 21cm by 18cn by 15cm

<em>The illustration in this question is to determine the surface area of the fabric and this is calculated using the surface area of a cuboid as follows:</em>

<em></em>

Surface\ Area =2(LB + LH + BH)

Where L, B and H are the dimensions.

So,

Surface\ Area = 2(21 * 18 + 21 * 15 + 18 * 15)

Surface\ Area = 2(378 + 315 + 270)

Surface\ Area = 2(963)

Surface\ Area = 2 * 963

Surface\ Area = 1926cm\²

<em>Hence, 1926 cm² of fabrics are needed to cover all surfaces.</em>
