Both DNA and RNA are types of nucleic acids.  DNA stands for deoxyribonucleic acid , while RNA stands for ribonucleic acid. Both DNA and RNA carry genetic information. However,  DNA is chiefly responsible for storing and transferring genetic information whereas RNA acts as a messenger between DNA and ribosomes during the process of protein synthesis and directly codes for amino acids.DNA is double stranded while RNA is single stranded.DNA has thymine in its structure but RNA does not. Instead in place of thymine it has uracil.<span>

If we have a plate that has 2500 colonies on it, can we use this plate to calculate CFU's
AleksAgata [21]

No, the solution with bacteria in it needs to be diluted in order to be in the range of 30 – 300.

A colony-forming unit –CFU is used to estimate the number of viable (ability to divide by binary fission) microbes in a sample.

A sample of microbes is diluted and spread on a plate. Then, the number of colonies is counted, assuming that each colony have grown from a single colony-forming unit, or CFU.

Plates with more than 300 colonies are difficult to count while those with less than 30 colonies give statistically unreliable numbers of colonies to count.

People with type ab blood are considered the "universal recipient" for transfusions because their blood is plentiful in a and b
Murrr4er [49]

The correct answer is their blood lacks A or B antibodies.

People with type AB blood have A and B antigenes on the surface of red blood cells (RBCs). Antigen AB  has no antibodies, thus, transfusion can be considered safe ( the serum of the recipient does not contain antibodies for the blood cell antigens of the donor).
