Answer:

y=\frac{3}{2}x-5

Step-by-step explanation:

There are a couple of ways to solve this, depending on what you already know.

Point-Slope Form

y-y_1=m(x-x_1)  where <em>m</em> is the slope and (x_1, y_1) is a point on the line.

First, calculate the slope using the two given points (x_1, y_1), (x_2, y_2).

m=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}=\frac{1-(-2)}{4-2}=\frac{3}{2} .

Fill in the point-slope pattern

y-(-2)=\frac{3}{2}(x-2) \\ y+2=\frac{3}{2}x-3 \\ y=\frac{3}{2}x-5

There's the equation in slope-intercept form (y=mx+b).

Slope-Intercept Form

Use y=mx+b directly.

Find the slope just like the above, so m=\frac{3}{2}.

Now, plug one of the points (either one!) together with <em>m</em> into

y=mx+b\\-2=\frac{3}{2}(2)+b \\ -2=3+b \\ b=-5

Now you know the value of <em>b</em>, so the equation for the line is

y=\frac{3}{2}x-5

(-2,3) is one vertex of a square on a coordinate plane. Name three points that could be the other vertices.
wariber [46]
Well basically you just have to chose a number of sides for the side length of the square to be and move those many places to get another vertex of the square. For example if we have (-2,3) and we choose the side lengths to be 4 units than you could move 4 places up, down, left, or right to get the other vertices for the square

Hope that helps :)

Chase answers 3/4 of his math questions correctly. There were 40 questions on the test.
nordsb [41]

multiply 40 by 3/4

40 x 3/4 = 40*3 = 120, 120/4 = 30

 he answered 30 correctly

40-30 = 10, he missed 10

2. It’s time for Ronda to start repaying her student loans, which are amortized over the next 10 years. Her first month’s paymen
grigory [225]

Based on the amount that she paid in the first month, the amount Ronda will pay for the next month is<u> $396.</u>

When a loan is amortized, it means that one can pay it off by paying the same amount every period until they would have paid off both the loan and the associated interest.

The amortized amount contains:

  • A portion going towards the principal(debt )
  • A portion going towards the interest accumulated.

In conclusion, as the amount is the same every time, Ronda will have to pay the same amount of $396 the next month.
