Answer:

The age structure of a population refers to the categorization of the world's population into age groups.

Explanation

The current age structure of the world’s population means the population will keep growing because of at least 2 reasons:

1. Death Rate Decrease: Death rate is decreasing more rapidly than birth rate, the child mortality rate had dropped drastically from 1-in-5 in 1950 to less than 1-in-20 today.

2. Increase in Average Human Age: This means that people are living longer than before, and if that is the case then population will keep growing

3. An expansive Age Structure of World Population: The world population will keep growing into the near future because it has an Expansive population pyramid which means that a larger percentage of people are in the younger age bracket. This further implies that there will be high fertility rates because young people are more likely to reproduce than the aged.

dimaraw [331]

Answer:

1. True

2.Soon after its creation, settlers from both the South, including Missouri, and the North came to Kansas. Many from the South supported slavery or for political reasons wanted Kansas counted among the states that favored slavery. Those from the North generally opposed slavery in Kansas. Election fraud, intimidation, and some violence resulted, when the two sides began to contest the territory. Because partisans inside and outside Kansas exaggerated the clash of arms for their own political advantage, the territory gained a violent reputation. The turmoil in Kansas contributed to the growing tension between the North and the South, which eventually led to the outbreak of the Civil War.

3.Civil war, a violent conflict between a state and one or more organized non-state actors in the state’s territory.

scoray [572]

Answer:

Confirmation Bias

Explanation:

Confirmation bias is a deep seated tendency to prefer information that confirms our existing positions. The human  understanding when it has once adopted an opinion draws all things else to support and agree with it. And though there is a greater number and weight of instances to be found not true, he either neglects, despises or rejects in order that by this great and pernicious determination the authority of its conclusions may remain inviolate. Confirmation bias is found to be important because it may lead people to hold strongly to false beliefs or give more weight to information that supports their beliefs than is warranted by evidences. This biased approach is largely unintentional and often results in ignoring inconsistent information

This is a well known psychological tendency
