Henry Ford

Born on july 30th, 1863, in Greenfield Township, Michigan, Ford is considered one of the biggest revolutionaries in economical, business and industrial history of all time. Ford's success was the result of great ingenuity and how the industrial revolution was affecting the masses.

He began his early life learning how to operate machines and he was fascinated about it. When he grew older, he became an engineer and that is when everything started to come into place. In 1908 he started the Ford Motor Company, and the production of the Ford model T, which would change the life of everyone forever.

There are many reasons why Ford and his company are so important for American history: First, he developed the first ever moving assembly line, which led to a greater capacity of production than any of it's competitors and this system also led to the name Ford to be well known all over the world.

Second, the ability to produce automobiles in massive quantities allowed them to be more accesible for the people to purchase them which, with time, turned into the fact of every person buying automobiles and transforming American's lifestyle forever, and the way that people thought of cars and mobility.

Third, and probably most important, US started to export automobiles, and the trade of cars inside and outside of the US created a huge expansion in economy, which made the US a stronger and even more recognized country in the entire world.

It is for this that Henry Ford is one of the greatest figures of the 20th century.

(50 POINTS AND BRAINLYEST) Why did people leave Eurasia and migrate to the Americas? Question 8 options: They were being pushed
mylen [45]
They followed animals and found a good place to live.
People migrated from Asia to the Americas because they followed animals and found a good place to live.
Historians and archeologist think that after the last ice age, a natural frozen bridge allowed people from Asia to cross to America through the Bering Strait. The strait separates Russia from Alaska by 58 miles. Because the territory was frozen, humans in that time could follow animal herds to hunt them and feed their families

Critics of the Articles of Confederation argued that it?
kap26 [50]
Critics of the Articles of Confederation argued that it was far too "weak" in the sense that it didn't give the federal government enough power over the states. This became especially evident after Shays' Rebellion, which proved very difficult to put down.

Based on Lincoln's stated opinions on restricting slavery, which group would he fit in with best?
Romashka [77]

Option A. The stated opinion that Lincoln had on slavery would lead him to be in the group of the Immediate Abolitionists.

Who is an abolitionist?

An organized attempt was made to abolish slavery in the United States during the abolitionist movement. The early leaders of the movement, which lasted from around 1830 to 1870, imitated some of the strategies that British abolitionists had used in the 1830s to abolish slavery in Great Britain. Abolitionism evolved from a movement with religious roots to a divisive political issue that split most of the nation.

This was one of the factors that contributed to the civil war that broke out in the US.
