It’s easiest if you break it down in to sections. Times the two sides of the square/ rectangle together to get the area of each section. To find the area of the triangle, you do the same but just divide it by 2. Answer = 80

The second question
stich3 [128]

2)

A: 5

B: 9a & a (from a/6)

C: -5 & ÷4

D: -5 & 9a

I haven't done algebra in a year, so don't think my answers are perfect!

definitions:

term: something separated by a sign/symbol (÷, ×, - +) (a/6 are two separate terms, ÷)

constant terms: variables that can be solved.

unlike terms: terms that don't "go" together, you can't subtract 5 from 9a because there's a variable in the way (eyy that rhymes)

like terms: terms that you can add/subtract/multiply/divide to another term

(another answer to c is 9a & a)

To find whether there is an association between these two let us find the correlation coefficient between these two variables.

r=-0.1975

Since |r|<0.5, correlation is weak.

Let us test the hypothesis r =0

H0:r=0

Ha:r not equals 0

Test statistic = \frac{r\sqrt{n-2} }{\sqrt{1-r^2} } \\=\frac{-0.1975\sqrt{11-2} }{\sqrt{1-0.1975^2} }\\=\frac{-0.5625}{{0.9803} } \\=-0.5738

p =0.298

Since p value >0.10, at 90% significance level we accept that there is no association.

Which method of separation can be used for a homogeneous mixture?
nignag [31]
One of the methods of separation of homogeneous mixtures is called distillation and it is based on the various boiling points of the component of mixture. Heating the mixture, the component that has the lowest boiling point will evaporate and the separation can be done. the other method is called chromatography.so the answer is d.distillation! hope this helped!
