Answer:  b.  24(x + 2) = (y + 3)²

Step-by-step explanation:

Vertex: (-2, -3)

Focus:  (4, -3)

                  ↓

                same y-value so equation will be y²

Equation: a(x - h) = (y - k)²

  • a = 4p where p is the distance from Vertex to Focus
  • h is the x-coordinate of the Vertex
  • k is the y-coordinate of the Vertex

Given: h = -2,  k = -3,   a = 4[4 - (-2)] --> a = 24

Input those values into the equation:  24(x + 2) = (y + 3)²
