Answer:

\$52

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: Ahmad had a balance of \$46 in his checking account he made a deposit of \$56 and wrote checks for  \$17 and \$30 his bank charged him  \$3 service fee.

To Find: how much money does ahmad have in the account.

Solution:

Amount ahmad had in his account =\$46

Let  Amount  ahmad  is  left  with   =\text{x}

Amount  deposited  by  ahmad      =\$56

check  wrote  by  ahmad             =\$17+\$30=\$47

service fee charged by bank     =\$3

Now,

Amount ahmad left with \text{amount ahmad had in his account}+\text{amount deposited by ahmad}-\text{check written by ahmad}-\text{service fee}

\text{x}=46+56-47-3

\text{x}=102-50

\text{x}=52

Hence ahmad have \$52 in his account.

Find three consecutive integers such that the sum of the largest and 5 times the smallest is -244. URGENT
Bad White [126]

Answer:

-39+5(-41)=244

Step-by-step explanation:

Consider 3 consecutive integers: (smallest) x, x+1 and x+2 (largest)

Five times the smallest means 5x

Sum of the largest and five times the smallest means x+2+5x

This sum is -244 means x+2+5x=-244

Solve this equation

x+2+5x=-244

6x+2=-244

6x=-244-2

6x=-246

x=-41

So, smallest number is -41, second is -40 and largest is -39

= -39+5(-41)=244

Hope this helps, have a nice day/night! :D
