Answer:

(31zy)/(13xz)

Step-by-step explanation:

A reciprocal is a number that you can multiply the original number by and get a product of 1. To find the reciprocal of a fraction, flip it upside down, putting the numerator in the denominator, and the denominator in the numerator:

\frac{31zy}{13xz}

If we multiply this fraction by the other, we would end up simplifying it to 1 by cross multiplication.

write an equation in slope intercept form for the line described. perpendicular to y = -1/2x + 2/3, passes through (2,3)
Alex17521 [72]

Step-by-step explanation:

Hey there!

Follow the steps to get answer.

  • Use one point formula and find 1st equation.
  • After that you find the slope of second equation.
  • Use the condition of perpendicular lines and find the slope of first equation.
  • Put slope value of equation in equation (i) and simplify them to get equation.

The equation of a line passing through point (2,3) is;

(y-3)= m1(x-2).......(i).

Another equation is;

y =  \frac{ - 1}{2} x +  \frac{2}{3}

2nd equation..

Now, From equation (ii)

We have;

Comparing equation (ii) with y = mx+c.

We get;

Slope = -1/2.

For perpendicular lines,

m1 \times m2 =  - 1

m1 \times  \frac{ - 1}{2}  =  - 1

Therefore the slope is 2.

Put value of slope (m1) in equation (i). We get;

(y - 3) = 2(x - 2)

Simplify them to get equation.

(y - 3) = 2x - 4

y = 2x - 1

Therefore the required equation is y = 2x-1.

50 points i need to know how to plot these
svetlana [45]

x is time and y is pencils that you have

'starts with 90' so at x=0, plot y=90

'gives away 15 every hour' so for every 1 hour, move 15 down on y

so at x=1, do 90-15=75 pencils

at x=2, do 75-15=60 pencils

etc

until you get to

x=6, do 15-15=0 pencils then stop because you can't give away 15 pencils when you have 0

see attachment for plot

I don't know how your segment tool works so you do it

if it draws a line, you only need 2 points, just do when x=0, y=90 and when x=6, y=0

SpyIntel [72]
P = 25h + 600.

This is because even if he works no overtime, he still gets his 600.
