In 1906, President Theodore Roosevelt created the Grand Canyon National Game Preserve on the Kaibab Plateau in northern Arizona.

Between 1907 and 1923, cattle grazing was greatly reduced, mule deer hunting was eliminated, and predators were killed. Over 800 cougars, 20 wolves (most had already been killed in the 1800s), and 7000 coyotes were trapped or shot. In response, the mule deer herd began to increase: By 1915, deer numbers were estimated at 25,000; 50,000 by 1920; and 100,000 by 1923.
The initial population of Kaibab deer in 1906 was about 4000. In an area of about 800,000 acres, this works out to an average density of one deer per 200 acres. What was the density in 1923?

Answer:

The average density of deer in 1923 was 1 deer per 8 acres

Explanation:

Given -

In 1923, the population of deer rose to 100,000

The density of any species is equal to total population divided by total area of the land in which this population is residing.

d= \frac{P}{A}

Where d represents the density

P represents the population and

A represents the area of land

Substituting the given values in above equation, we get -

d = \frac{100,000}{800,000} \\d= \frac{1}{8}

Thus, the average density of deer in 1923 was 1 deer per 8 acres

Answer:

\frac{1}{8}

Explanation:

Given -

The number of deer in year 1923 was 100,000

The area of the reserved area is 800,000 acres

The density of any organism in a given area is the number of organism per unit area.

Or

D = \frac{P}{A}

Where, D is the density of deer

P is the total population of deer

and A is the ares of reserved park

Substituting the given values, we get -

\frac{100,000}{800,000} \\= \frac{1}{8}

Numerous proteins and other substances are injected into the neurons.

  • The blood-brain barrier functions effectively to protect the brain from common infections.
  • Because of this, brain infections brought on by blood are incredibly rare. When they do occur, brain diseases are frequently severe and challenging to cure. Only a few anti-infection medicines can traverse the blood-brain barrier because antibodies are too large.

Forensic investigators find a widespread dispersal pattern of elongated bloodstains on a wall with a void at the point of origin
gulaghasi [49]
<span>Forensic investigators observe the crime scene and gather any physical evidence that is found and document the analysis done on them. Sketches and the photos taken at the crime scene are also the part of the evidence they collect. Since here the bloodstains found by the Forensic investigators are less than 1mm diameter, they can deduce the weapon used for crime would be shotgun as it has a narrow barrel.</span>
