Self esteem is defined as the perception of self it deals with the study of how a person feels about self, which affects every other area of their life.

Good self esteem ( which is subjective) can be viewed as having a positive and appreciative attitude towards oneself. This involves self respect, self love, and self understanding.

Bad self esteem ( which is subjective) can be viewed as having a negative and unfriendly attitude towards oneself. This involves self hate, self depreciation, and self harm.
