A ray starts at one point and goes on forever.

So you just draw a point and a line extending from it with an arrow at the end of the line(the arrow tells you that it goes on forever).

How do I expand the expression shown?
bezimeni [28]

x² - x + 4x - 4 → D

Expand using the FOIL method

F → multiply First terms → x and x = x²

O → multiply the Outer terms → - 1 and x = - x

I → multiply the Inner terms → 4 and x = 4x

L → multiply the last terms → 4 and - 1 = - 4

(x + 4)(x - 1) = x² - x + 4x - 4

12/365
you find what 12 has in common with 3 which is nothing then 36 which 12 times 3 is 36 so u can use 3 then find what 12 has in common with 6 which is 0 so

Estimate the size of a crowd walking in a charity fundraising march that occupies a rectangular space with dimensions of 10 feet
jolli1 [7]

Answer:

4000 is size of a crowd walking in a charity fundraising March.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Dimensions of rectangular space 10 feet by 12000 feet

So we can say that,

Length = 1200 ft

Width = 10 ft

Now we will calculate the area of rectangular space which is given by

Hence Area will be = length\times width= 10\ ft \times 1200 \ ft= 12000 \ ft^2

Now we know that 40 people occupy a rectangle measuring 10 feet by 12 feet.

Length = 12 ft

Width = 10 ft

Area = length\times width= 10\ ft \times 12 \ ft= 120 \ ft^2

It says that 40 people are occupied in 120 ft^2

So how many people will be there in 12000 ft^2

By using unitary method we get,

Number of people = \frac{40\times 12000 \ ft^2}{120 \ ft^2} = 4000 \ peoples

Size of a crowd walking in a charity fundraising March is 4000.
