I think its the second one the PLACE THE POINT OF THE COMPASS ON POINT M AND DRAW AN ARC, MAKING SURE THE WIDTH OF THE COMPASS OPENING IS LESS THAN 1/2 MN. This is my opinion only. Thanks!

It’s the first one, place the point of the compass on point M and draw an arc, making sure the width is greater than 1/2 MN.

An explanation on why:
This is the first step as the second would be doing the same thing except the compass is on N and after that the arcs will intersect. U want it to be more than halfway so the two arcs can intersect and u can create ur bisector by drawing a straight line from the intersected part.
I don’t know if I explained that well I’m not very good at explaining

This problem can be modeled by the picture shown below. We notice that we are given to side lengths, specifically legs, of the triangle. Therefore, we can use the Pythagorean Theorem, which states that a^2+b^2=c^2, where a and b are legs and c is the hypotenuse. So we can do:

16^2+12^2=c^2
256+144=c^2
400=c^2

The square root of 400 is 20, which is our hypotenuse.

(You might wonder why we used 12, that is because the whole base length is 24, but we only need half of the base to  use the Pythagorean Theorem. 24/2 is 12).

74% of freshmen entering public high schools in 2006 graduated with their class in 2010. A random sample of 81 freshmen is selec
Assoli18 [71]

Answer: Probability that the proportion of students who graduated is greater than 0.743 is P = 0.4755

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that,

Probability of freshmen entering public high schools in 2006 graduated with their class in 2010, p = 0.74

Random sample of freshman, n = 81

Utilizing central limit theorem,

P(\hat{p}

So,

(P(\hat{p}>0.743) = P(Z>0.743 - \frac{0.74}{\sqrt{\frac{0.74(1-0.74)}{81} }  } )

= P( Z > 0.0616)

= 0.4755 ⇒ probability that the proportion of students who graduated is greater than 0.743.

Olivia ordered 24 cupcakes and a layer cake costs 16$ and the total cost of the order was 52$ what was the price of each cupcake
Tju [1.3M]

Let x be the price of a cupcake. There are 24 cupcakes so it will be 24x. Solution: 24x+16=52 24x=52-16 24x=36 Divide both sides by 24 X=1.5. The price of each cupcake is 1.5$
