On November 8, 1811, Harrison torched Prophetstown when Tecumseh was away for battle.

<u>Explanation: </u>

Shawnee tribe is a American native tribal community who were settled east central United States of America. They have their own language which is called as Algonquian. Tecumseh was a leader of the Shawnee tribe who was in mission to unite all native tribes of America to fight against the expansion of white’s territory in their native land.

When Tecumseh was away from Prophetstown because of battle and besides this Tenskwatawa also known as ‘The prophet” was confused which caused the Native Americans to immediately abandon Prophetstown. This has helped Harrison to torch Prophetstown on November 8, 1811.

Which statement would most likely be made by a supporter of the wars in iraq and Afghanistan
klio [65]

Answer:

C) Unstable, undemocratic countries pose a danger to the entire world.

Explanation:

The statement that would be created by a follower of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan is "Unstable, undemocratic nations profess a threat to the entire globe."

People that promote these sorts of wars and aggression think that violence is the means to reply to earlier aggression. Nations such as Middle East countries such as Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, are supposed to be a warning to the protection of the United States and its commercial and political concerns. That is why some people recommend attacks rather than diplomacy and meetings.

How does the central idea of this quote reflect the ideas of Taoism? It encourages people to have many children. It suggests tha
VashaNatasha [74]

The correct answer is C) It supports the balance between opposing forces.

Although you forgot to include the quote, we did some research and can answer the following.

The central idea of the quote reflects the ideas of Taoism in the following way: It supports the balance between opposing forces.

This is the quote that is missing. It belongs to Tao Te Ching, Laozi: <em>"The Way gives birth to the One. The One gives birth to two. Two give birth to three. All three give birth to all things. All beings support the yin and embrace the yang. And through the blending of qi (energy), they create harmony."</em>

So as we can read in the quote. Taoism refers to the correct balance of opposite forces to live in harmony: good and bad, black and white, fear and love.

One good example is the symbol of the Ying and the Yang, in which the black sign has a white dot and the white sign has a black dot. This is the perfect balance of energy in everything that exists.
