Subtract 15 from the depth:

200-15 = 185

Subtract 20 from the width ( 10 from both sides)

Area to build on: 185 x 230 = 42,550 square feet.

A. 25,600π in3

B. 10,240π in3

C. 1280π in3

D. 640π in3
NeX [460]

Answer: The correct answer is B; 10,240π in³

Step-by-step explanation: To calculate the volume of a cylinder, the given formular is

Volume = π r² h, where

radius (r) = 16

height (h) = 40

Pi (π) = 3.14

It is important to take note that in questions like these, the value of pi is usually given as 3.14 or 22/7. However, for this particular question, the answer should be expressed in terms of pi, (that is, the answer must include pi). For that reason we shall leave pi as it is, and we shall not use it's value when applying the formular.

Therefore, inserting the values of radius, height and pi into our formular, we now have;

Volume = π r² h

Volume = π x 16² x 40

Volume = π x 256 x 40

Volume = π x 10,240

Therefore the exact volume of the cylinder = 10,240π in³

What is the quadratic domain of y=x squared
statuscvo [17]

domain is the numbes you are allowed to use for x

what I usually do is just find the numbers that aren't allowed in the domain. such numbers are numbers that cause a division by 0 or a squaer root of a negative number

given y=x^2, there are no numbers that you can use for x that will cause a division by 0 or a square root of a negative number

so domain is all real numbers or D={x | -∞<x<∞}

he data shows the distances, in miles, run by runners in a track club. 6, 3, 8, 8, 6, 6, 8, 2, 5, 2, 5, 10, 3, 5 Create a histog
kakasveta [241]

Answer:

To create a histogram of the given data set, we first must check for the frequency of each value.

6, 3, 8, 8, 6, 6, 8, 2, 5, 2, 5, 10, 3, 5

2 - 2

3 - 2

5 - 3

6 - 3

8 - 3

10 - 1

Now that we have the frequencies of each, we need to add them to each range.

0 - 2 : 2

3 - 5 : 5

6 - 8 : 6

9 - 11 : 1

Refer to the image for the histogram.
