What happened during the Great Schism ?

History

Answer:

a lot happened

Explanation:

The Great Schism split the main faction of Christianity into two divisions, Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox. On July 16, 1054, Patriarch of Constantinople Michael Cerularius was excommunicated from the Christian church based in Rome, Italy. The Great Schism permanently divided the eastern Byzantine Christian Church and the western Roman Catholic Church. The popes in Rome claimed papal supremacy, while the leaders in the East rejected the claim. This led to western popes and eastern patriarchs excommunicating each other.  During that time, three men simultaneously claimed to be the true pope. Driven by politics rather than any theological disagreement, the schism was ended by the Council of Constance (1414–1418). For a time these rival claims to the papal throne damaged the reputation of the office.

What happens when a pharaoh dies
AfilCa [17]

Answer:

The ancient Egyptians' attitude towards death was influenced by their belief in immortality.

Either the son of the Pharaoh took over, or rarely the wife would take over.

Explanation:

To ensure the continuity of life after death, people paid homage to the gods, both during and after their life on earth. When they died, they were mummified so the soul would return to the body, giving it breath and life. Household equipment and food and drink were placed on offering tables outside the tomb's burial chamber to provide for the person's needs in the after world. Written funerary texts consisting of spells or prayers were also included to assist the dead on their way to the after world.

Sanitation standards are part of a state’s responsibility to protect
natta225 [31]

Public health

Sanitation standards were created to protect the common good in particular in cities.

During the Second Industrial Revolution, many began moving to the cities. Overcrowding of people and horses created large amounts of waste and very little clean water. Disease ran rampant and sanitation systems were put into place to protect the health of people.
