Hunting would be regulated or limited in an area that is severely overpopulated with deer because C. unregulated hunting could lead to species becoming endangered.
Although at this point there are a lot more deer in that particular area than there should be, still it is forbidden to hunt them down indiscriminately because that could completely extinct the species.

You conduct a mark-recapture survey of eastern fence lizards (Sceloporus undulates) in a 2-hectare plot in eastern Arizona. You
Ksenya-84 [330]

Answer:

Option C

Explanation:

Given -

Total number of initially marked lizards (M) = 250

Total number of recaptured lizards (C) = 75

Total number of recaptured marked lizards (R) = 24

As we know that -

\frac{M}{N} = \frac{R}{C}

We have to find "N" . "N" is the total population size of lizards in a 2-hectare plot in eastern Arizona.

Thus, on rearranging the above equation, we get -

N = \frac{M * C}{R}

Substituting the given values in above equation, we get -

N = \frac{250 * 75}{24} \\N = 781.25\\N = 781.3

Hence, option C is correct

Hoochie [10]

Answer:

I believe the answer is B.

Explanation:

It's not A, C and I don't think it's D.

As the Earth rotates, your region of Earth passes through both of these bulges each day. <u>When you're in one of the bulges, you experience a high tide. When you're not in one of the bulges, you experience a low tide.</u> This cycle of two high tides and two low tides occurs most days on most of the coastlines of the world.

What moves lymph through the lymphatic system?
solong [7]

The lymph is moved through the body in its own vessels making a one-way journey from the interstitial spaces to the subclavian veins at the base of the neck. Since the lymphatic system does not have a heart to pump it, its upward movement depends on the motions of the muscle and joint pumps.
