Answer:

B.In  a right triangle, the acute angles are complementary.

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given that Vivian draws three right triangles.

In each figure  , she measure a pair of angles.

We have to find conjecture which  is reasonable for Vivian to make.

We know that in right triangle, one angle is always of 90 degrees.

We know that sum of angles of triangle is always 180 degrees.

If one angle is of 90 degrees then sum of remaining two angles

Sum of two angles +90=180

Sum of remaining two angles=180-90=90

Sum of remaining two angle should be equal to 90 degrees.

The sum of two angles is equal to 90 degrees then the angles are called complementary angles.

In each figure,

Sum of two angles in first figure=53+37=90^{\circ}

Sum of two angles in second figure=45+45=90^{\circ}

Sum of two angles in third angle=12+78=90^{\circ}

Therefore, in  a right triangle, the acute angles are complementary.

Answer:B.In  a right triangle, the acute angles are complementary.

If the line containing the points (-2,10) and (7,4) is dilated by a factor of 2, then the slope of the new line would be which o
zubka84 [21]

When the line segement is dilated , the resulting line is parallel to the original line. Know that the the slopes of parallel lines are equal. Therefore, the slope of the line passing through (-2,10) and (7,4) is equal to the slope of the new line .

Basically, we will just have to compute for the slope using the points (-2,10) and (7,4).

\begin{gathered} \text{slope, m = }\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1} \\ m=\frac{4-10}{7-(-2)}=\frac{-6}{9}=-\frac{2}{3} \end{gathered}

147.1 is what percent of 155
Harrizon [31]
Solution for what is 147.1% of 155

155/x=100/147.1
(155/x)*x=(100/147.1)*x       - we multiply both sides of the equation by x
155=0.67980965329708*x       - we divide both sides of the equation by (0.67980965329708) to get x
155/0.67980965329708=x
228.005=x
x=228.005

now we have:
147.1% of 155=228.005
