Gas bubbles and pollutants buried within layers of Antarctic ice are in essence

Biology

The Correct answer is A.

As snow becomes compressed , air between the flakes gets trapped. The process involving trapping of air occurs during burial of snow layers and  is generally not complete  until the bubbles are about 60 meters or more below the surface.

Once the bubbles have formed, they act as the time capsules of the atmosphere when they were trapped. By extracting the air from the bubble in ice cores, changes in the past can be studied .

Studies of these changes show the dramatic increase of  what are called greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, caused by human use of fossil fuels, as well as natural changes that accompany glacial climate

Difference in powdered salt and granulated salt
In-s [12.5K]
Rock salt is also known as halite. It is different to sea salt because it is already found in a solid form and then mined. Table salt (refined salt) can also be produced from solid salt which is found underground and then refined to remove any impurities.

Which condition would be most conducive to the evolution of sexual reproduction and recombination?
babymother [125]

Answer:

A rapidly changing environment

Explanation:

The sexual reproduction is more advantageous to organism to survive in the harsh conditions due to the changes in the sequence of nucleotides of the genes which became a characteristic feature of the sexual mode of reproduction.

This process of changes in the sequence is known as recombination. The sexual mode or reproduction evolved in the last common ancestors of eukaryotes but it is known to occur in the prokaryotes also as they reproduce by conjugation, transformation and transduction.

The sexual mode of reproduction was evolved in the organism as a result of the change in the environment to survive and thrive in the environment.
