The United States entered the war because of the Germans' decision to resume the policy of unrestricted submarine warfare, and the so-called "Zimmerman telegram," intercepted by the British, in which Germany floated the idea of an alliance with Mexico. ... They abandoned it in the face of US pressure earlier in the war.

A justice issue that is important is Racial Inequality, it’s a serious issue because we all deserve to be treated equally. People of color are constantly getting judged based off the color of their skin. Black People are single most discriminated group in the U.S and until the balance is equal which won’t be for the next few generations, then no other minority group has a chance at equal treatment. (idk if any of this helped
or idk if this is what you asked for)

Answer:

D. Most politicians who supported the cause of the Irish immigrants were Democrats

Explanation:

Even though, President Harry S. Truman is a democrat. The passage did not imply that "Most politicians who supported the cause of the Irish immigrants were Democrats."

Because the passage only made mention of the name of the President that once attended the St Patrick's Day parade in New York. And also there other political candidates who attended the Day but not that majority of the Democrats politicians support the cause of the Irish.
