Michael notices that every time he gets what he calls an "adrenalin rush," his heart rate and pulse quicken and he feels a surge

of energy. He also notices that lately it takes his body longer than normal to return to feeling calm and normal. What might explain Michael's delay in coming down from his "adrenalin rush"?

A adrenalin rush is the firing of dopamine receptors and adrenal glands. The same things happens when someone takes stimulants. what comes up must come down. This is called a comedown and its when your body doesn't have enough dopamine and or adrenaline. eventually his body will start to produce it again and he will feel back to normal.
