Ferns:they grow best in damp places, such as forest and river banks.
Mosses: they usually grow no more than 4 in (10cm) in height. They grow close together in clumps in damp or shady places
Flowering plants: they make up the biggest group of plants. They are found in most parts of the world, though about two-third of flowering plants live in hot, wet tropical areas.
