Answer:

3 : 1

Step-by-step explanation:

We want to work out the ratio of online sales to shop sales when a jewellery shop sells 240 necklaces in a month.  180 of the necklaces were sold via the shop's website, the rest were  sold in a high street shop.

We know that they sold 180 necklaces online and we need to work out the amount sold in the shops. It says that "the rest were  sold in a high street shop" so that means 240 - 180 = 60. 60 were sold in a shop

Therefore,

online sales : shop sales

180               : 60

3                   : 1

Answer:

The ratio is 3:1 or

\frac{3}{1}

Step-by-step explanation:

Ratios, expressed as rational numbers, are simply fractions that create a relationship between two elements.

In 180 necklaces sold online to 60 sold in shop.

This is expressed as:

\frac{180}{60}  =  \frac{18}{6}  =  \frac{3}{1}

hana orders 3 pairs of athletic socks and her friend, Charlie, orders 2 pairs of athletic socks. what is the total cost, includi
elena-14-01-66 [18.8K]
The answer would be $74 because you would need to multiply the number of socks Hana ordered by the cost and multiply the amount Charlie ordered by the cost. Now you would add the two amounts together and also add 4 for the 2 shipping orders.
