Waves are most commonly caused by wind. Wind-driven waves, or surface waves, are created by the friction between wind and surface water. As wind blows across the surface of the ocean or a lake, the continual disturbance creates a wave crest. These types of waves are found globally across the open ocean and along the coast.

Answer:

Waves in ocean are caused by winds

Explanation:

Waves are produced when there is a disturbance in a medium. Waves located on the ocean's surface are commonly caused by winds. Since waves are the carriers of energy so winds transferring its energy to the water, and big waves, or swells, can travel over long distances. A wave's size depends on wind speed, wind duration, and the area over which the wind is blowing along the air-water interface, creating a disturbance that steadily builds as wind continues to blow and the wave crest rises.

puteri [66]
Short-term memory holds information for 15 to 25 seconds and stores it according to its meaning rather than just as mere stimulation. However, it is not really true that short-term memory can be retained only for this short amount of time. It has been shown in different studies that it can be held even longer.

lys-0071 [83]
I think that minor shielded should not donate one of their kidneys because some genetic kidney diseases won’t have started to cause symptoms yet in young children and so it’s hard to know if their kidneys may be affected by diseases

hram777 [196]

Answer:

The correct answer is B. A client who has increasing serum ammonia levels due to liver cirrhosis

Explanation:

Etiology is the study of origin or cause of any disease. Pathogenesis is the mechanism of causing disease by any pathogen. Pathogens use four-step to become pathogenic which are contact, colonization, invasion, and infection.

In pathogenesis the symptoms of disease is observed not the cause so in option B increasing serum ammonia level is the symptom of liver cirrhosis which characterize pathogenesis rather than etiology and in other option, only cause of a medical condition is described so the correct answer is B.
