Explain how signaling pathways are deactivated for transduction parts of a signaling pathway.
BARSIC [14]

Explanation:

cAMP binds to protein kinase A and activates it, allowing PKA to phosphorylate downstream factors to produce a cellular response. cAMP signaling is turned off by enzymes called phosphodiesterases, which break the ring of cAMP and turn it into adenosine monophosphate (AMP).

Which of the following phenotypic classes reflect offspring that were generated as a result of a recombination event?
babymother [125]

Answer:

The correct options are: A " vestigial wings, red eyes" and D "full wings, purple eyes"

Explanation:

female parent: vg+pr+/vg pr

(phenotype - full winged and red eyes)

male parent:  vgpr/vgpr

(phenotype - vestigial winged and purple eyes)

Of these traits, vestigial wings and purple eyes are recessive traits. Hence, when a recombination event occurs, the offspring can potentially have a wild type trait paired with a recessive trait.

The medium of a wave is________.
fenix001 [56]
I might be wrong but I think C ( what the wave it traveling through). I think C because a wave medium is the substance that carries a wave (or disturbance) from one location to another. The wave medium is not the wave itself and it doesn’t make the wave. It just Carries or transports the wave from its source to other locations.
