When there is an excess amount of nutrients for water plants, Eutrophication occurs. It is a form of Water Pollution. During the <span>Eutrophication, nutrients are released from the sewage to water. With the excess amount of nutrients, algaes and other aquatic plants growth increase. When they die, decomposers use the oxygen in the water for the process. The animals and fishes will die due to lack of oxygen levels. </span>

The information that determines what an organism will be like is stored in the _____________ molecule.
Alchen [17]
<span>The information that determines what the organism will be like is the DNA molecule. It is made up of nucleotides. These nucleotides are linked chains. The four types of bases found in nucleotides are: adenine, thymine, guanine, cytosine. The order of the bases determines what instructions are contained on the strand. For example, say a strand shows ATCTT and say that presents in a person who has blue eyes while other eye colors would be a different code. Wach piece of code determines what the organism will be like based on those pairs.</span>

When setting up a Sanger sequencing reaction, each reaction should include template DNA, nucleotides, dideoxynucleotides, buffer
kondaur [170]

Answer:

b. Forward or reverse primers

Explanation:

Sanger sequencing is a technique of DNA sequencing based on the extension of DNA fragments with variable sizes terminated with dideoxynucleotides at the 3′ end. This technique was developed by Frederick Sanger in 1977. In Sanger sequencing, a short primer is added in order to bind by complementarity to the target DNA region of interest. Subsequently, a DNA polymerase adds nucleotides (A, T, C and G) in the 5'-3' direction. Finally, the extension of the DNA strand is stopped by adding dideoxynucleotides, which are nucleotide analogs (i.e., modified nucleotides) that act as DNA synthesis terminators.

maw [93]
So here we have two heterozygous organisms that will mate. You can put them into a Punnet square, just to be sure of your answers and to find all possible genotypes :

      R      r
R  RR   Rr
r   Rr     rr

So you have RR, Rr and rr as your possible genotypes.

Albinism is inherited as autosomal recessive trait. The frequency of the disease in the population equals to 1:20 000. Calculate
prisoha [69]

Answer:

0.0139- frequency of heterozygotes in the population

Explanation:

Let q to the power of 2 represents the frequency of the homozygous recessive (aa) = 1/20000 = 0.00005

This, q = √q^2 = √0.00005 = 0.007

Since p + q = 1

p = 1 - 0.007 = 0.993

Using the formula: p^2 + 2pq + q^2

Where 2pq represents the frequency of the heterozygotes, thing we have

2 x 0.007 x 0.993

= 0.0139
