They are things that are non living. These include water, rock, soil, sunshine, air, wind, and any other items we use that isn't alive (cellphones, TV, furniture, clothes, etc.). Biotic factors are opposite of this. These include anything living like humans, dogs, plants, etc.
The major structure that supplies the cells with nutrients and removes their waste is the circulatory system. The circulatory system is composed of the heart, the blood vessels going from and back to the heart, and the blood that travels inside them. The blood vessels that carry nutrient and oxygen-rich blood to the cells are arteries. They become the thinner arterioles, and then the thinnest capillaries. With the exception of the pulmonary arteries, which carry non-oxygenated blood from the heart to the lungs, all arteries carry oxygenated blood. The capillaries disburse the nutrients and oxygen to the cells and pick up wastes and carbon dioxide, form into the thicker venules, then to form veins, which lead back to the heart (with the exception of the pulmonary veins, which carry oxygenated blood from the lungs to the heart). Veins also differ from arteries in that veins have valves to prevent blood from flowing backward.
The pharmaceutical company would really affect the place
where their factory would be located. It will affect the humans mostly in a
good way. With the rise of pharmaceutical company, people will be able to have
access with medicines. They can easily buy medicines from this company whenever
they have illnesses or diseases. It will also have good effect to the economy
because they will be paying taxes to the government. On the startup, they will
be paying for business licenses and other fees to the government. They are also
generating income which is good to the economy of the place. The effect of this
company to the environment including its climate would depend on its
precautionary measures against pollution. Pharmaceutical waste can have bad
effects to the environment if not disposed properly.
• Matthias Schleiden observed that all plants were made of cells; Theodor Schwann observed that all animals were also made of cells; and Rudolf Virchow observed that cells only come from other cells.
• Prokaryotic cells- don’t contain a nucleus or any other membrane-bound organelle.
Eukaryotic cells- contain membrane-bound organelles, including a nucleus.
• Phospholipids make up the basic structure of a cell membrane and are arranged in a double layer called the lipid bilayer.
• Active Transport- moves ions from low concentration to high, using metabolic energy in the form of ATP.
Passive Transport - moves ions from high concentration to low, using no metabolic energy.
