The available options are:

A. seeks equality of opportunity

B. encourages economic growth

C. depends on productivity

D. is based on equality of results

Answer:

D. is based on equality of results

Explanation:

Option D. Equality of results in redistribution policy focuses on giving each individual or everybody in the society similar or equal standard, which would benefit Jonas, regardless of being poor, old or living in the rural areas. Hence the right answer.

However, Option A. Equality of opportunity will not benefits Jonas, because, this policy only seeks to treat everyone based on opportunity, and because Jonas lives in rural area, it would not benefit Jonas additionally, hence, it is not a correct answer

Option B. Policy that encourages economic growth will focuses on urban and youths, rather than rural and old which Jonas falls in, hence, it would not benefit Jonas.

Option C. Policy depending on productivity will give lower income to Jonas, because, Jonas is poor already and lives in rural area, where productivity level is generally lower. Hence, it would not benefit Jonas.

Omi and Winant (2014) make the case that rather than understanding race as an inherent feature of human beings, it is essential
Romashka [77]

Answer:

The "race" as a social construction

The "race" is not a human biological category, but a social construction that is based on different historical, political, economic and experiential contexts. The term "race" should not be associated with an ethnic group, a population or ancestry. Different scientific research has shown that it is a myth that there are "white", "yellow" or "black" genes. All human beings that live on the planet have one hundred percent of the same genes, what changes are the types, sequential variations called alleles. Neither the blood type nor the skin color determines the origin or origin of someone. Humanity shares a history of nomadism and migration. Comparing populations does not mean that there are races, it means that there are thousands of humans that vary in their DNA sequences.

Racial identities

The analysis of racial identity starts from people's perception of themselves in racial terms. The social race exists and can have a biological impact. It is important to keep this in mind since we cannot go against the self-denomination of each person (being considered white, black or mestizo).

 • Understanding this concept help scholars better analyze the politics of race because it shows how necessary it is to eradicate the structure of racism based on systems of discrimination based on identity.

What are, in your opinion, the reasons why Harriet Martineau's sociological ideas about marriage, children and Women's domestic
loris [4]
The main reason, in my opinion, that Martineau’s work in sociological areas of marriage, children, and domestic life were ignored is that, during that time, there was not a want or a need for change. Women were seen as not to be above their stations and there was absolutely no need for them to think, much less even ACT upon the ideas that Martineau put forth. While it’s true that Queen Victoria herself was a fan, most of the ideas put forth by women at this time were strictly ideas and were never, ever thought to be put in practice, but to just help them “get through it.” It is only recently that her ideas have been recognized by sociologists all around the world as scholarly. Remember—during the time, women were not meant to be scholarly past playing the piano forte.

Hope this gives you a springboard to jump off of.

marissa [1.9K]

Answer:

Prejudice and discrimination

Explanation:

Prejudice and discrimination falls under the category of stereotype, and almost everyone of us have been dealt with these. An individual tends to feel stereotyped in any situation in which he or she has been criticized for something including race, sex, gender, religion, ethnicity.

According to various research, it has been critically mentioned that everyone of us has foreseen discrimination at least once in our life.

Stereotype isn't done only on a large scale but it can also happen in day-to-day life of a person. Bullying someone is one of the most common example for the same.

I would say that it's a plain, and more specifically the European Plain (from France to Russia). Central Europe is really quite flat with only occasional mountain ranges.
