Solution:

To Measure Variability we use four Measures

1. Range

2. Inter-Quartile Range

3. Variance

4. Standard Deviation

Averages are same , it means Mean of the two set of Data are same.

→the average number of points each player’s team scores per game can also determine variability.

→the total number of points each player has scored can also measure variability.

→As range is Minimum Value subtracted from Maximum Value of the given set of Data. So, it can be the measure to determine  variability.

So, Option B: →the number of games each player has played can't Determine a player’s game performance showing the least variability among all the options provided.

And if you want to determine variability, which helps us in determine which player's performance is better then it would be option A which is the most and least points each player has scored in a game.

If you're interested in determining which player's game performances show the least variability, you'd want to identify the smallest and largest number of points (minimum and max).

Complete the following statement. The number of iPhones sold today at an Apple store is an example of ________ data.
faltersainse [42]

Answer: Option 'e' is correct.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we know that

Discrete data are those data which is countable and it is expressed in exact numerical form.

Continuous data are those data which is lie within the interval and it varies so it does not expressed in exact numerical form.

Here, the number of iphones sold today at an Apple store is countable and it can be expressed in exact numbers.

So, it is considered as discrete.

Hence, Option 'e' is correct.
