Paleo Indians were the first people who lived in North America. They arrive from Siberia through passing the Bering Land Bridge. They killed animals for food and survival in the cold and wild environment. They also gathered roots, berries, wild plants, nuts for food. Plano, Clovis, and Folsom are three different Paleo-Indian cultures. Plano culture found in Colorado. The Plano developed a variety of spears with sharp points made of stone to hunt animals.
The Industrial Revolution changed material production, wealth, labor patterns and population distribution. Although many rural areas remained farming communities during this time, the lives of people in cities changed drastically.
