The perimeter is the length of the outline of a shape. To find the perimeter you have to add all the lengths of all four( or so) sides.

Say that this (OOO) is a box

There is y, and x. Finding both sides will get you the perimeter
Example =

(OOO)x
  y

You would have to add both sides of the box to get your answer

it would be

                              y
                          x(OOO)x
                               y

Now, the area is the measurement of the surface of a shape. To find the area of a shape with four( or more) sides, you = Multiply the length and the width of a shape with four(or more) sides.

So, imagine this (OOO) is a box

    4
4(OOO)4
    4

I hope I could help! :)

Have a wonderful rest of the day.

Find the length indicated

Answer:

The answer should be 8.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since the whole thing is 14, and you have a part section as 6, subtract 6 from 14. This will give you 8. So, the missing length is 8.

I need help please and can you also explain how you got the answer
pashok25 [27]
Hello! Let’s start with multiplying them so they will have the same base! 2(2/3) = 4/6

Alright, now let’s divide them!

4/6 / 5/6 equals to 4 / 6 x 6 / 5 which is equal to 24 / 30 but I only see 2/3 times 6 / 5 WHICH IS the same thing tho.
