After summing up calculations, Christopher Columbus decided to conduct a voyage toward the westward route to find Asia. After receiving financial help from the Spanish king Ferdinand III, Christopher Columbus began his sail with three ships. The reason to find a new way to reach Asia was to find the quickest route that would help to conduct trade and receive luxury goods like spices etc.
