Find the simplified quotient of y^2+y/y^2-2y/4y+4/y^2-4y+4
babunello [35]

Answer:

y4 - 8y3 + 8y2 + 2y + 8

 —————————————

           2y2

Step-by-step explanation:

Step  1  :

            4

Simplify   ——

           y2

Equation at the end of step  1  :

            y       y       4

 (((((y2)+————)-((2•—)•y))+——)-4y)+4

          (y2)      4      y2

Step  2  :

           y

Simplify   —

           4

Equation at the end of step  2  :

            y       y       4

 (((((y2)+————)-((2•—)•y))+——)-4y)+4

          (y2)      4      y2

Step  3  :

            y

Simplify   ——

           y2

Dividing exponential expressions :

3.1    y1 divided by y2 = y(1 - 2) = y(-1) = 1/y1 = 1/y

Equation at the end of step  3  :

          1  y2   4

 (((((y2)+—)-——)+——)-4y)+4

          y  2   y2
